Strident Press launches

Strident Press was conceived through a spontaneous transmission delivered to writer Gregory Pleshaw in the early morning hours of April 16, 2010 on a train from New Delhi to Dharamsala, India. It was intended to exist as the travel blog of Pleshaw’s journey to India, during which Pleshaw studied yoga, reiki, Tibetan Buddhism and other thought-streams in the course of a four-month stay in the home of the Dalai Lama.

Between that time and now, a transformation occurred in the life of Pleshaw, who credits his various practices as being a part of this transformation. Over the course of the coming weeks, we’ll be looking back over this period in a time-travel fashion to find this keys to a transformation that is still ongoing. Originally intended as a place to pen and distribute original work, Strident Press will provide links to Pleshaw’s other publications, but the blog will primarily offer short blog posts and links to some of the more interesting material that he discovered in his travels, and will be back-dated to the times of discovery.
